Curry Goat


  • 3lb goat, cut up into cubes
  • 8 tbsp Spur Tree Curry Seasoning
  • black pepper and salt to taste
  • 2 small carrots cut in slices (optional)


  1.  Wash goat and marinate with 6 tbsp Spur Tree Curry Seasoning. For best results, let marinated meat sit overnight in refrigerator.
  2. Pour a little oil in pot and heat and fry 2 tbsp Spur Tree Curry Seasoning for 2 minutes.
  3. Add meat to pot, and brown a little turning regularly.
  4. Turn down heat, cover and simmer.
  5.  After 15 minutes, add 1 cup of water and carrots (optional).
  6. Continue to simmer, covered until tender,
  7. Thicken the gravy, if required, by adding a tsp corn starch to remaining liquid.
  8. Serve with white rice.
