Jamaican Style Braised Oxtail

Sunday Dinna' Vibes!
Prep & Marinate!
- Add 2 oz of Spur Tree Spices Oxtail Seasoning to each pound of oxtail and marinate for minimum 2 hours for enhanced flavour.
Time to Cook!
- Place a pot on medium heat and add vegetable oil.
- Add each piece of oxtail flat and brown for at least 5 mins on each side.
- Remove the browned oxtail from pot and discard oil.
- Add the browned oxtail back to the pot and add enough water to cover the oxtail pieces and cover.
- Cook on medium for 2.5 hours stirring occasionally and add water as needed.
- After 2.5 hours, stir in 2 - 4 oz of Spur Tree Spices Oxtail Seasoning, add bell peppers and butter beans.
- Simmer for another 30 mins or until desired sauce consistency is achieved.
